I have a Gehl 2600 skid steer and I was wondering if someone had any info on who made the hydrostatic transmissions for this unit? I haven't had much luck finding info or a good place for used parts on this machine. Thanks Al

Can you lift the cab and look for a tag? somewhere there should be a plate telling you what brand and model it is.

I have both hydrostatic transmissions out of the unit and the tag only list patent #, and a #05 ML 15481,and 90 1095 LH,and no name as to who made the transmission. Maybe Gehl made them but I don't believe so . Thanks Al

Send Levi an e-mail from http://www.skidloaderpumps.com/ he has parts or can get parts for just about anything. Look up his details in the contact info section lower down on the first page.

My 2500 had one made by Hydra mac in Minnesota. They went out of business and a guy named John Bugge who used to work there bought all the spare parts and prints. I have talked to him about parts for my 2500. His number is 218-684-5901. The Tech help at Gehl didn't even know this... I just walked my way through the story of hydra Mac until I found John. Mike
