For those who have their dealer do 500-hour or 1000-hour Servicing. Such as changing engine oil and filter, engine air intake filters, cab fresh air intake and circulation air filters, changing of hydro-static planetary drive oil, engine fuel water / dirt separator filter and finish filter, etc.

Recommend marking all filters and fill/drain caps and plugs; in unique manner before taking your CTL in for service. Including oil drain access hatch, marking the bolts holding it in place. Along with taking pictures of all areas involved. Then upon return of your CTL verify work was done. Same for cars too.

The above advice comes a previous incident with a car taken in for service, and a recent experience with a major dealer servicing a well known brand CTL. Despite obvious evidence work had not been done (filters still covered in dirt, deep dirt covering thread/gasket area of filters, dried mud stuck to fill/drain plugs, dried mud holding drain hoses up in machine, access hatch held up do to dried mud, etc.) the service manager and brand's representative to dealer both claimed work had been done.

It finally, took engine oil being tested to get dealer to refund my money. Testing showed oil's used life hours, closely matching engine hours.

After I changed oil and ran CTL for four-hours, you could barely see replacement engine oil on dipstick. Whereas, when I got CTL back, with at most 3-hours of run time, engine oil was very dark to black, easy to spot on dipstick. Oil appeared like it did when CTL went in with hundreds of engine hours.

To be clear, it was service work I was charged for and did pay for, not warranty or curtsy work.
Had it been only one item out of 500-hour service, I would chalk it up to a service person's mistake. But not this many items.
