Have a 1978 632. Rear pump housing was cracked and i replaced it. So when this happened the oil from the back case drained out. Put it back together filled the hydraulic oil tank and started the engine. I then bled the pump from the top bleeder bolt and cycled it back to the tank. Put the machine back on the ground but I have no power on the left wheels. It will spin off the ground fine but as soon as load is on it it has almost no power. Not enough to turn the machine. The right wheels turn fine as well as tilt and boom. Did I not bleed it right? Also have a rubber smell when I removed the emergency brake cover so I could see if I had a stuck brake. Any help would be appreciated. Does the motor have belts in it? Confused?

im having drive problems on my 763 i cant turn right it will however turn left and seems to operate ok l and r backwards how does yours perform backwards? mine was a progressive failure i use mine only at home and its starting to p*** me off if you find an answer let me know im new to hydraulics but willing to try and to learn

763 the best of the best in the bobcat world iv see these units exceed 10000 hrs dont stress.if what you are describing is loss of drive one side one direction .most likley cause hi to low leak in motor. proper diagnosticts would to cap off hoeses at stat or motor. full throt does it kill eng. or close to it/BOTH DIRECTIONS) if not swap relief replenish valves side to side does problem move. yes bad valve.rare, i would pull motor mark and tear down you find blown seal. have seal kit on hand and reseal note there is a timing proucd , if you get it wrong it spinn backwards. hoses can be swapped in most cases. to get right direction. not proper way to do it . but beats buying two seal kits.

It's probably the drive motor. Swap the hoses on the pump, 4 that side, and see if it follow,s the pump, or the drive motor.

I have to agree.
I had a 753 that had no power either direction on one side. Opened the motor up and the seals were really brittle and falling apart. $5 worth of O rings from my local seal guys, i had both motors with new seals. Worked great ever since.

Looked in my hydraulic tank and found it looked milky white. Upon further inspection i noticed it is air bubbles. Started with the port block filter and found what appears to be a screwdriver hole punched through the back of it. Had to order a new filter should be in in a few days. Bobcat mechanic here is super helpful as long as his boss isn't around. He said that the puncture hole could be agitating the oil and causing the problem. He also said to check the return lines for a loose fitting. But didn't specify what lines these are? Thought I could figure it out so didn't ask, wish I would have. How does this diagnosis sound to you guys?

White generally is water in the oil, you need to get it clean.
Not sure the holein the filter is causing it to foam, but if it was plugged, it would. A new filter is a good start.

No water. Tiny Air bubbles machine has New oil
