DPF Delete? 259D

Looking for some general knowledge about this procedure, is it better to delete or use emulator to make the machine beleve it is still functioning. I have a 2017 259D 3500 hours and it keeps giving me a DPF error even after removal and cleaning. Worked for about 10 hours and back to error. WIll be checking the sensor. Cost to buy the ET software and programer is about the same as buying an emulator. The only exception is that I am not familar with the process of flashing a new firmware that replaces current without the DPF requirement.

Did you find a 259D emulator? If so where can you get one?

I would highly recommend to figure out your issue instead of trying to delete it.

I've seem few engines get destroyed because of deleting, not fixing the problem first

For example..... Your dpf keeps getting plugged up fast. A stuck egr valve could cause this from happening but could also take out your tubro due to overheating

By the way, yes ET can definitely help you out I did it for years without the software before I bought it. Just saying
