DC Thermal Cab heaters

Curious to know if anyone has tried the new version of the DC Thermal Cab heaters, They look like they have a nice design with different vents and hoses. Its getting close to that time of year again when I have to start thinking about snow and cold weather. I've done a ton of research on cab heaters, everything previous to this has said that an all electric cab heater will not perform like a heater core type. Im drawn to this because of its size, vents, and ease of installation. However I'm curious to know if I will be dissapointed with its output. Any suggestions or advice is appreciated!

Based on my looking into it as a "wirenut", I believe you would be really unhappy and really cold. First of all those DC unit heaters just don't have the KW needed for your b-cat. So if you try and find a larger DC one, which you may, then you need to look at the gauge of wire to run the poor thing efficiently, plus now you are killing your 90a. alternator. Sad to say, bad idea in my opinion, Napa carries many small heater cores, and a 12v. DC fan off Flea-Bay is less than $20. Yes alot more work to route hoses, and make up your own little heater, but my little unit cost me about $75 installed all new parts, with a KW rating of 12K btu's!!! Talk about some series heat just from hot water! Plus the reality is, it is no larger than the one you would be purchasing. Just be sure to purchase flow bypass kit off Flea-Bay for summer time, or you will regret it.
