Correct Hydraulic Pressure For a T545.

I am working on a T595 that has a problem lifting the arms at anything but full-throttle rpm. According to the "Vitals" screen on the display, it shows the hydraulic pressure to be 332 psi at 1, 149 rpm and 414 psi at 2,601 rpm. Can anyone tell me if this pressure range is "normal"? When lifting, the pressure does not fluctuate. Is this reading the correct one to be looking at? There are no current codes. ANY help is greatly appreciated!

THANKS!

I do not know exactly but I would guess your pressure should be at least 2500 psi. I would think this should be listed in the machine specs. if researched.

if you are talking charge pressure, my S650 shows about 400 cold at idle and about 375 warmed up.
Reving the engine up, will bump the pressures up about 10 psi above those.

Thanks foton! I was wondering, because the symbol next to that pressure reading on the "Vitals" screen is the same symbol that is on the main screen that has a digital gauge, and that gauge shows the reading at the top end of the scale. I guess that pressure reading is different than the reading that I would get from connecting to a test port. I will attach a picture of the displays if I can get them to go through.

Oh, Phil 314, that may be what that reading is for! THANKS everyone for all the information. I guess my next step is to get a connector to hook a pressure gauge to the test port.

Hopefully these pictures will go through.

Ok - I've been trying to find the right couplers to fit the quick connect test fittings on the spool valve. They are smaller than the two attachment fittings on the front of the machine. Does anyone know what size they are or where I can get them? Much thanks in advance!

I have finally found out the following:
The "big" fittings on the front of the machine are 1/2". The "small" fittings on the front of the machine are 3/8", and the two test connectors are 1/4". These sizes are "body size". I had a hard time finding this out, as the Bobcat parts list for this serial number said the test fittings are supposed to be 3/8", and actually measuring them does not directly correlate with what the body size is. Here is a diagram of the measurements for each body size. I have a fitting ordered and will let everyone know what I find out.

THANKS!

Finally, an update - it was a bad hydraulic pump. I replaced it and the Bobcat lives again. Thanks to everyone that helped out!

Glad you got it going and thanks for the update.
Your post on the couplers will help others in the future.
Too bad it was an expensive fix.

Yes, that's what happens when someone doesn't fix a leak, thinking they can just put more fluid in it when it gets low, but winding up starving the pump and causing irreparable damage, necessitating replacement.
