Control Valve Spool Seals

I have 4 brand new spool seals. Part # 6683274
I had bought them for my 853 but they were too large.
$5 for all 4 + shipping from Hamilton Ontario Canada.
Not sure what brand/model this will fit.

They should have fit because they are the right Part Number for that machine. These are the updated Seals which all machine now take.

I don't disagree, but it appears there were a couple of different control valves for those model years. The SM I have on hand lists a quad ring or lip seal depending on the chamfer at the seal location. I ordered 6665089 (Lip seal) and 6646372 (Quad ring) to be safe. Searching online came up with 6683274 so I ordered that one as well just in case.

When I pulled the spool I had the long chamfer in the housing, so I installed the lip seal. The ones I am getting rid of were a larger diameter, but not so large it was obvious when they arrived.

ALL Control Valves are converting to these Seals now.

All I can tell you is those seals were about 1-2mm larger in inside diameter to the spools in my control valve. The "Long Chamfer" was outlined in the SM and stipulated which seal to install (lip or quad) in accordance with the depth of the bevel at the face of the valve.

I wanna say that there was a BTI somewhere that the new green Seals should fit all now.
