CL35 Foot Pedals sticking

Hi folks. Just picked up a used CL35 skid steer. It has foot pedals for lift and bucket control. They seem like they should work independently. However they are on the same shaft and when you push on one the other one tries to the same thing. My question is how do you lubricate these pedals. I didn't see any obvious grease fittings. I will be the first to admit that I haven't looked that hard yet but most fittings are pretty obvious. Has anyone else experienced this or fixed this before?

It sounds like the pedals have started to sieze to the shaft. I don't know that just lubricating them would solve the problem.
The best course of action would be to disassemble them, clear the rust, check the condition of any pivot bushings that may be involved, and lubricate them at that time.
If there truly are no lube points on this assembly, this may be the time to add some, while it is apart. Some grease fittings, or even some holes that you can squirt oil into may help to keep this situation from re-occuring.

I have a CL55 and there are no grease fittings on these for the pedals. Seems the engineers goofed here in designing the setup. However on my mchine the “fix” was easy enough, soak the bars in with PB Blaster a couple days then shoot some good quality spray lube on them and use that.
I considered putting fittings on but the tolerances are too tight and it won't hold enough grease to make a difference unless you machine a grove in the rods and I don't think thats a good idea. Also use those sprays on the control levers and lift locks. Mine had the right side lift lock frozen so bad I removed the zerk and soaked it with PB Blaster 3 days and then tapped it with a hammer to free it. Works great now!
