my pod has a Cat 325 with a 3116 , 6 cylinder turbo and blew a connecting rod , been searching the country for a long block , Cat says 14,000 , 3000 core and the new motor will not be a direct replcaement as it has to be upgraded to new emission standards , when I asked what is envolved with the upgraded they said we would have to drop the motor in and see what doesn't line up and make adjustment , like exhaust , muffler , air intake , sounds expensive and a lot of headaches , have found the best deal so far is a 9,500 long block with the same arrangement , ----------anyone with some leads on Cat idustrial engine remaned sources
