Has anyone else had trouble with their CAT burning engine oil? It acts like it isn't even broke in yet although it has a few hundred hours on it. Did the rings fail to seat? Dealer looked at it but problem is the same. I think they might have replaced the turbo.

Its normal for engines to burn a little oil during run in, but this is usually only the first 10 or so hours.....
Just how much is it using? If its only a small amount they may consider it to be normal.
If its blowing blue smoke, there is definatly something wrong for an engine with only a few hundred hours. Maybee even valve stem seals.
