Case 1840 - no left hand forward drive

Hi all! I bought the little 1840 i mentioned in another thread. I am happy with the purchase, just need to get to the bottom of why i don't have a forward left drive after it operates for a little while. I have great forward and back on the right side, and always have good reverse on the left, but the front left drive fades pretty hard. Where should i start first? obviously the drive motor, but is there a 'usual' culprit like a relief valve, or so i need to reseal something? Thanks for the help! Best, Tom

I generally swap motors over to see if the problem moves, then you know for sure if it's the motor or the pump.
