I have a New Holland snowblower for my Bobcat T770 and the dealer says I can't hook up their cable to my machine because the blower has a 8 pin cable and my T770 only has a 7 pin plug. They want me to use a seperate box to put in my machine. Has anyone done this with out going to the box? My cab is tight enough withouy putting another control inside.

I would maybe try doing a search to see if anyone makes an adapter that goes from 8 to 7 pin or what ever you need, this would then allow you to just add the adapter to things and be a easier.most likely cheaper fix!
I would also make sure that your machine and the blower are compatible, as in the flow rate needed for blower to run right matches what the flow rate is on your machine!
maybe try contacting this place, they seem to make a lot of adapters for skid steers, that or again try doing a online search, I'm sure others also make them

well, then, I guess maybe keep looking on line, or, maybe, ?? you can find the wiring diagram and then, rewire a Bobcat adapter to the new holland side of things, and make it work

question is , is it really worth the hassle over just finding maybe a different blower, or doing what your dealer suggested?
and as for your machine being a high flow, yes that maybe so, but all machines do not have the same rates of flow, even being a high flow model
some of the newer machines have two or maybe 3 times the flow as so called high flow machines of the past, they came long way
but so has the needs for higher flow rates on implements
so, its always best to double check rates before buying things and knowing where you stand, re you at the max of your machine or ???

as snow loads can vary a bunch pending snow type, wet heavy as to dry powdery, make a big difference on load and how hard a blower has to run!

Unfortunately, you are running into the main reason that I'll never buy a BobCat. Their decision to use CANBUS to control their attachments is a non-starter and a slap in their consumers' faces. Every other machine will easily run that blower.
I'm surprised that SS Genius couldn't help though. They really are the experts in this stuff. You may have to replace the blower end with a 14 pin connector and then hopefully that will allow you to connect to the SS Genius box.
All that being said, their converter box is close to $1000. You might be best to sell the snow blower and get a BobCat compatible one at this point.

Are you adapting a tractor mounted snow blower to use on skid steer or was this a skid steer? If, so, I'm positive you need to change the plug to a 14 pin and then buy the box from SS Genius. You will have to figure out the functions of each wire. SS Genius should have a wiring diagram for the 14 pin too.

Ok, I did some more research and it looks like your blower is made by FFC. If you don't have the 14 pin connector (should've come with the blower) then SS Genius does sell this, which will get you to the 14 pin and then you can buy their box to go from BobCat to the 14 pin.

Here's a Genius idea. Why not allow people with FFC attachments to run them on their Bobcat Skid Steer Loader? This adapter does just that.

The blower was built for a skidsteer.
Did it not come with the 14 pin, which plugs into the 8 position plug? There aren't 8 pin plugs on a New Holland skid steer. Almost every attachment I have has an intermediate plug that connects to the standard (except, of course BobCat) 14 pin Bosch connector.
