I'm curious to know if anyone has pictures of a factory cab heater installed in a 1998 763 or similar. For some reason I thought that I seen some of them with heater vents under the seat, and some with the heater core and blower next to your left arm. Maybe factory ones have both, and the vents are for defrosting the door? I have a 763 that has a full glass cab enclosure in it, but I want to install a factory heater that looks like it originally came with it! I don't know what parts I will need for sure and the pics might give me a better Idea. Ive searched all over the net, and on various sites including all the pictures in this site and have come up with very little. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

The 93 753 I had (pre C series) just had the heater in the left rear corner of the cab and it sucked its are from inside. The new machine (maybe when the C series started or definitely the F series) had some ducts below the seat to help warm your feet.
I had but some flexible tubes on the heater of my 753 and run them down into the foot wheel area whiched helped a lot.
None are great for clearing the windows. A extra 12v fan in the rear window helps.
Also somewhere in there (c or f series) Bobcat stuck a filter on the side of the cab and began drawing fresh outside air into the cab.

I have a 763 I think a 99' which I am sure is the factory cab heater, it has the vent under the seat, the side outside / inside air intake, and the heater fan next to your shoulder, what pictures do you need in specific, I should be able to take some.

mini, If you could take some pics that would be so appreciated. I don't really know what to tell you....What I need for sure is where the ducts run to and from, how the heater is fastened in the cab and what the controls are and look like for the heater (both the heater box and the electronic contols) . What the heater housing looks like. Pretty much any pics of the heating unit inside the cab would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully that makes sense! Thanks, Collisioncenter

Thanks for all the pics mini! Now if I could only find someone that had a heater in there unit that either no longer works or the skid loader is now a open station, I would be in business! I called bobcat and the price for the plumbing kit and the heater are just over 1000.00! I would really like to find a cheaper way! Thanks again for all the time you took in uploading and taking these pics! Collisioncenter

$1000 is a bit pricey for sure, like everything on these things
I think it would be fairly straight forward to make something up yourself, like maybe a small automotive heater core, in a box with a fan,

I know I could fabricate something up, I could also buy an aftermarket unit and make that work. Im thinking more about resale down the road...if I install some goofy aftermarket heater or something that looks hacked in there, it may hurt the resale. If I could find someone that wanted to remove theres for the summer, I could copy all the tin work and fabricate a box and brackets exactly like the factory. Then all I would have to do is get the plumbing kit, the vents, hoses, wiring, and the blower motor. I would paint the thing to match bobcat and decal it as its supposed to be. I could cut some cost down doing all that but its alot of work too. Not to mention I would be relying on someone else and the "honor" system. I don't think thats a very good option. I'll have to wait and see what happens. Thanks again for all you time, hopefully something will come up! Collisioncenter
