I've asked about this on a few facebook groups but nobody seems to have an answer. There is a decal that has since worn off my machine that shows the plugs on the drive gearbox. It says not to disturb the center plug or the other two plugs when changing oil. Both myself and the previous owner of this machine have used the center plug as a fill level/vent plug when changing the oil, but this decal says specifically to not disturb any plug other than the official drain plug. Does anyone have any clue why? It appears that they all go into the gear housing and I cant think of any reason not to use it. I do notice that it doesn't have an O ring on it. Could that be it? It is sealed from the factory and removing it could cause a leak if you don't use sealant on it? Thanks for any info you might have.
