ok guys I have a problem about 90% of the time. My bucket will not tilt up, it will tilt down fine and pick up the front of the skid steer no problem. The bucket will tilt up if I lift the bucket at the same time. This problem happens about 90% of the time, the other 10% it works great. If the problem is going to happen it happens front the start up of the machine. I checked the linkage and it is working fine all the time and has the same travel Any help is appreciated.

one more thing. I have the aux hyd foot pedal, could this be causing the problem?
Does it still lift ok? or is it only your tilt function? if its tilt only, it could be a anti-cavitation valve that has come loose and is blocking the oil flow somewhere. This happens in Bobcats, not sure if your machine runs one or not, but it may.
The aux control could do it too, but it should cause a problem for lift as well as tilt.

Lifting works fine. Only the tilt seems to be an issue.

Sounds like a possible anti-cav valve then... But i have no idea where to look for it, it should be in the line from the control block to the tilt ram, it should be at a joint, not in the middle of a line though.

Problem solved. Aux hyd pedal was depressed. This also made it hard to start due to pump pressure while cranking.
