Broken MT50

I have a chance to buy a busted MT50 mini bobcat track loader... it has no engine at the moment. What was the original engine that went into it? Kubota D722?

I contacted the local bobcat dealer, the original motor was Kubota D722-E2B-BC-3, it's no longer available from Bobcat... I see some of them on eBay, ranging from $3000 - $5600, quite a range. Are these MT50 mini-bobcats good machines, worth investing this kind of money into them? What would it be worth if fixed right?
