BOSS unit not displaying metrics properly 1993 753

1993 bobcat 753 boss unit not displaying metrics properly.. This bobcat has been an ongoing project, so I have been putting off messing with the boss unit. The first issue was that it was displaying a EP-3 code, oil pressure sensor wiring not connected, which it was.

I hadn't dove into fix that issue yet but, one day I welded in a new section of metal for the seat in the cab as the old one was rotted out. my grounding clamp was right next to my weld, and battery was disconnected.. After welding, the machine no longer beeped at me and does not display the code anymore as well as the metrics being way off / missing now. My guess is something was messed up when welding? The machine still runs as it did before the boss unit started acting up.

I have checked all the connections and cleaned them, as well as grounds. I have 12v for the backlight pin and 5v at the orange wire going to the LCD.

My first thought would be that the controller next to your seat is going out. I've heard of people having crazy things happening when they go out.

I'm not very familiar with the boss units my 763 has the bics system. But I know these machines are fairly simple. One thing you could try is when you have some time call your local bobcat dealer and ask to speak to a tech in the shop. Most of the time you can ask for someone who's been working at bobcat for a long time who is familiar with the older machines and they always have some good advice. Or if you have some time to kill go to the dealer in person and talk to one of the guys. If you have a good dealer near you they usually don't care to give you some advice.

1993 m. "Bobcat 753 Boss Unit" netinkamai rodė metriką.. Šis bobcatas buvo tęstinis projektas, todėl atidėliojau netvarką su boso padaliniu. Pirmoji problema buvo ta, kad jis rodė EP-3 kodą, alyvos slėgio jutiklio laidai nebuvo prijungti, o tai buvo.

Dar nebuvau įsigilinęs į tos problemos sprendimą, bet vieną dieną suvirinau naują metalinę dalį sėdynei kabinoje, nes senoji buvo supuvusi. Mano įžeminimo spaustukas buvo šalia mano suvirinimo siūlės, o akumuliatorius buvo atjungtas.. Po suvirinimo aparatas nebesuko į mane ir neberodo kodo, taip pat metrika dabar yra išjungta / trūkstama. Spėju, ar kažkas buvo sujaukta suvirinant? Mašina vis dar veikia taip, kaip veikė, kol viršininko padalinys pradėjo veikti.

Aš patikrinau visas jungtis ir išvaliau jas, taip pat pagrindus. Aš turiu 12v foninio apšvietimo kaiščiui ir 5v oranžiniame laide, einančiame į LCD.
