I,m trying to refurb a 1999 bobcat 753 the wiring at the switchgear has been tampered with and I cant find any diagrams with the correct colours that I have in front of me
yes on the panel on the left hand side there is a ignition switch, a light switch a diagnostic socket and another switch also in the back of that panel there is a 4 way wire connector that I don't know what its for ? anyone have any ideasAre you talking the switch panel where you start the machine or the control levers?
Sadly i don't have a 753g i can take a picture of the wiring on... The wiring shouldn't be too complicated though.yes on the panel on the left hand side there is a ignition switch, a light switch a diagnostic socket and another switch also in the back of that panel there is a 4 way wire connector that I don't know what its for ? anyone have any ideas
hi I have found out that one set of wires are for the lights I just need to work out what the other 4 wired socket is the wiring colours are blue , green with red , 2 x black on one connector, and an orange wire with white and black wire on same connector . I,m looking for new block connectors if anyone knows where to purchaseSadly i don't have a 753g i can take a picture of the wiring on... The wiring shouldn't be too complicated though.
There should be power from the battery, non switched, look for a wire with +12v on it, there will be glow switched power, orange with a black stripe? black or white from memory. There should be one for start too. The problem is, i can't tell you what pins these wires go to on the switch....
Not sure what the 4 position switch is, as the G series panels have push buttons, not switches from the factory.
Black will be ground, Orange is power, i don't remember what one is switched, but it is either orange/white or orange/black.hi I have found out that one set of wires are for the lights I just need to work out what the other 4 wired socket is the wiring colours are blue , green with red , 2 x black on one connector, and an orange wire with white and black wire on same connector . The plug looks like it's factory fitted with the orange and white with black I will get a test meter onto itBlack will be ground, Orange is power, i don't remember what one is switched, but it is either orange/white or orange/black.
The connector with black and orange wires, sounds like that could be a short right there.
