Looking to purchase my first bobcat. looking at 2000yr 753. On test drive, engine fired up fine, lift and bucket tilt work smooth, drive smooth going ahead and reverse in strait line, however when turning right hand drive seems to bind up somewhat then I get jerky motion as i try to turn. (forward or reverse) Turning with left hand drive is nice and smooth. As it is an older machine I expect repairs/maintenance are in order Trying to get some input as to possible source of binding and if I should consider this a deal killer. Thanks'

One thing to check is that the tyres are full of air and what surface were you working on? When you turn on sticky surfaces like bitumen or concrete, it will jump as it turns, not slide like it does on dirt.
It could also be steering adjustments, there isn't anything i can really think of that is a major issue that could cause it to happen when only turning one way.

Thanks for response, I purchased and reviewed a service manual for this model but with no prior bobcat experience was uncertain regarding issue.

Hopefully it is something simple. That's the hardest part, if you haven't used one before you really don't know what is and isn't normal. Good luck with your purchase! and if there are any issues hopefully we can sort you out on the forum
