Hello All, Recently swapped out an aging v1702 for a fully rebuilt v1702. When I first got in installed and fired up, I noticed some (very faint) white smoke exiting the vent hose when the throttle was set to the absolute lowest position. Once I got it revved up to "high idle" or 1/2 to 3/4 power, it no longer could visibly perceive the white smoke. Later when throttling down to absolute lowest position, I noticed a little bit of the white smoke again. No oil at all coming out from the vent. I placed a white terry cloth underneath it and throttled up to various positions to see if any residue would appear on the cloth and none did. Should I be concerned? Could it simply be assembly lube burning off? I'm also willing to chalk up my newbie status and are new to small diesel engines.
