Bobcat 743 Wiring Terminals/Light sockets

I bought new sockets for my transmission and engine indicator lights. The sockets are nothing more than plastic holders for the copper terminations on the end of the wiring harness. The reason I bought the sockets was due to the corrosion in the existing sockets. Now I can't get the wires out of the existing sockets without cutting the plastic away. Apparently the only way to get the copper pieces from Bobcat is on a new wiring harness. I might be able to get the right size new spade connector to slide in there but I'm not sure if that will give me the reliable connection I'm looking for. Has anybody found a source for these special connectors or any suggestions? Thanks

Have not messed with mine but go ahead and break the old ones clean up the brass and stick them in if not any 12 volt light would do I would go with led and striaght wire them in

Got them into the new sockets. I believe there are special tools to release the retainer springs, I'll have to experiment with some thin wire or something. Next job is replacing the pressure sender switch. I have about 39 0hms when the machine is not running- if I jumper the switch the hydraulic pressure light comes on.

Does it come on when you turn the key on and off when it starts?

It will not come on unless I have a jumper across the NC switch so the pressure sensor must be bad unless I am missing something.
Ok not sure but there are two sensors one on the right of the hydro pump and one on the right of the valve block and some linkage is close to that one so look for rubed wires

The transmission oil temperature switch? That would be normally open and close on high temp? I don't think it would turn the light on with the ignition key. There is a hydraulic fluid filter condition switch on top of the filter. Does that only close if there is a problem? It is currently open as well. Putting my next order together for Bobcat, it really burns me to pay $12.50 UPS on every order when I am picking it up at the branch.

On mine the wire on the filter is not evan connected and lights work fine so sounds like you got it ......and you can order from bobcat with a card and have them ship it for the same price to your house but they would rather you pick it up from them that way they pocket more money but they don't tell you this

I ordered the switch, also checked on the price of a cab wiring harness. $169, less than I expected, but still quite a bit for what's involved. Going to try DeOxit D5 to clean the terminals, the can I have is a lower strength for gold terminals on audio equipment.

Maybe memory is bad but wasn't Bill Munney the character in "Unforgiven" I don't recall that he had a bobcat though.
