I just bought a 1991 Bobcat 440B that has a pin on bucket. I would like to know how to convert this machine to a quick tach system. Bobcat dealer says they can do it but will cost 2 plus thousand to do so. Thanks for your help.

You have to buy the quick-attach and then pin it on where the bucket pins on now. Then you have to convert all your buckets by cutting off the pin holes and welding quick-attach lugs on. I would shop around a bit. They are lots of manufacturers and styles in the US and Canada. Having said that, 2000.00 installed probably isn't that bad of a price.
