Can't raise the cage on my Bobcat 743 with engine running. The wiring harness from engine compartment to dash must be unplugged behind the seat before raising the cage. Makes troubleshooting hydraulic problems nearly impossible. Surely I am missing something.
Thanks for any suggestions

they sell an adapter that plugs into your engine harness (with key switch) to start your machine.
raise the cab - lock it so it wont fall back down while working- plug in keyed adapter and start engine.

its something every time we work on the drive we wanted to make, last year we spliced a couple foot of wire into the harness so we can raise cab and run motor

By chance do you have a number for the harness? I can't find it anywhere?
