I just recently purchased a 853 Bobkat and I am in the process of fixing it up. The problem I have is I can not find accurate information on how the 2 switches on the left and right steering handles that control the auxiliary hydraulics are connected. I have 5 wires form each steering handle going to incomplete connectors in the hydraulic bay under the seat. If I could find accurate wire colour coding for the connectors I could fix the problem. I have a service manual for the 853 but all the wiring diagrams shown do do match my machine wire colours. My Local Bobkat dealer has not been very helpful. I am looking for suggestions on how to fix my machine. Thanks for any help.

What version of the service manual do you have? Is it paper or PDF? See pic for example

I have a pdf file with the same version as you circled. I am not familiar with what the function is for each wire( 5 on each side). It appears each side has a 3 wire connector and a 2 wire connector which the 5 wires from the handle switches are suppose to connect to. My left side has the 2 male connectors missing(just wire with pins that look like they were removed from male connectors). The right side has the 3 pin connector in place and has the 2pin male connector missing so 2 wires not connected. If I new the purpose of each wire I could figure out the connections

The below should get you pointed in the right direction. I asked about the manual version only because I hoped you had an older version from the one I circled in red.

Thank you so very much for the information. Just to be clear on my left and right designation, I assume the right steering lever is on my right side when I am sitting in the bobkat seat and facing forward? Can you please confirm. Thanks
Your help is a life saver. Thanks again.

Your assumption is correct.
