Hi guys,
Now that I have my machine up and runnning well, and all lubed and serviced, I would like to find a backhoe attachment for it. What attachments will work with this late 70's machine? I hear the Case D100 hoe is one that will work. Could one of the experienced users here please confirm? If I find one of these, will it also work on a newer machine, say a 743/753? (Ya just know I'm gonna upgrade one day

) or will I need to find another hoe?
Also, what other attachments will work on this old machine, 10GPM at 2150 PSI? Post hole auger etc?
Cheers
Paul

Pretty much, as long as your machine can lift it, it will work.
The newer style has a different hookup to secure it to the frame, the older ones used tow balls, it worked just fine, the frame shape of the newer style machines made it so that style didn't fit properly.
That flow and pressure will be fine, it may not have as much force as a machine that has 2,500 or 3,000 PSI available but will still work.

I have the Davis (Case) D100 backhoe for my 742B. My hydraulic is at 11 gpm and that is plenty of flow.
When operating the back-hoe I usually don't need to use full power.
