8875 JD Skid steer

I have a 8875 JD Skid steer, It has several problems...the boom is slow to go up,sometimes it won't tilt the bucket back and forth,when I drive it sometimes it just stops out of no where engine is on but it won't go back or forth then after a minute or so it goes again,some times it try's to do a 360 to the left I have to turn it off so it will stop spinning.

I have already changed the hydraulic filter and that's about it. Oil looks clean. But has not fixed any of the problems...Any idea on what it can be or tips?

OK some questions,
how many hours on machine?


does this machine rev up correctly, ? and hold RPMS?

when its doing these things, what are the RPMS at? are you certain the hydraulic fluid is at correct level>

does it have any issues when going backwards?

I don't see no hour meter on this machine lol, so I don't know, last owner told me he put a new motor in it like 5 years ago. Been running great since i bought it...it revs up nice the motor doesn't miss a beat...yes, having problems too when I try to go backwards sometime it stalls like when going forward. It just quits and then after some seconds or mins it moves again either forward or backwards. Hydraulic fluid is at correct level just checked 3 days ago.

Forgot to mention when I turn off the skid steer I can hear some gurgling sound in the hydraulic oil reservoir. It gurgles for around 30 seconds.

IIRC this is the same model skid as the New Holland LX-885 with a JD engine. Repost in the New Holland forum and see if someone there can help. Unless all the electronics have been bypassed ... the hour meter should be center stage on the
EIC christmas tree on your dash above the door. . Google LX 885 owners manual and download it for a place to start your
trouble shooting .....
