Hello, new to the forum, I got a 96 or 97 8875 for free, everything works except for the aux hydraulic control, the valve is stuck in the neutral position and I can not get it freed up. Any Ideas?

I assume it's electric and not a plysical linkage?
If electric, you will need to check that when you move the switch that the coils are getting power. Start here, then work to more complicated things.

No it's linkage I can see the aux valve and it will not move. I could tap it very small hammer but I don't know if I would create bigger problems?

You may have no choice.
Check the linkages right back to the control block. If you remove it at the control block, see if the lever moves, if so, it's locked up in the control block. Be careful tapping the spool, go slowly, hopefully it won't score the metal from the rust that sounds like is there.
Older bobcat machines have a bolt to lock the aux hydraulics out, yours doesn't have something like that right?

The aux control is on the right hand drive control, you move toward the drivers seat or away from it, the linkage moves it bows out the bottom linkage because the valve does not move. I was wondering if it has an electrical stop for a safety lockout. I have tapped the valve and used a penitrating spray no movement of the valve. Now what????

Update--------- Removed the linkage and the hand control works fine, clamped the valve with a vice grip and lightly turned it and broke the rust free. Reconnected the linkage and after a lot of movement of the lever and the valve works now. Thanks everyone....

Glad it's working now. The only issue you may have later is it could leak. Rust on the spool can damage the seals, but deal with that if/when the time comes.
