Guys I installed a used aux hyd controller and a used harness to replaced removed controller and jumped out harness. Now I have a few more questions. 1. probed wire at controller found 0 vdc at Item 1 input for attachment ID manual says it should be 11.5 do I need 11.5 vdc here to run continuous mode ? Thx for your help

Do you have the lights in the cab now? I think that's returned signal voltage from the attachment itself, however I'm not sure if I'm looking at the same schematic you are, I don't see an item one

both lights are flashing still not getting cont. flow Page 8-28 of service manual for PWM troubleshooting I still need to check some more wires I don't have enough hands need 3 hope I can get some help today to figure this out. will I need to jump 12 vdcto this to make it work without attachment on machine?

Are you getting flow with paddle switch? Do you have an auxiliary harness that runs up the boom and terminates at the couplers? If so unplug it, the connector will be above the battery. Do you have rear auxiliary option on this machine, if so unplug the rear aux. The controllers are crap to begin with, the used one may be bad.

You do not need 12V at the attachment ID.

I figured I would try a used controller maybe get lucky $1000.00 new is a bunch of money for a little guy like me. the 2 sol valves on the r/h frame hyd valve preform what function ?

Now with used harness and controller I do not seem to be getting power to the coils on the aux control valve I can pull them off without any resistance. And all I have are flashing lights on the upper r/h cont flow mode panel.

The two coils work the auxiliary flow. They are 10V and use PWM signal. I think they should be at 10 ohms, I'd have to double check that. I wonder if the coils got changed to just on/off 12V coils when the controller was removed. Do they have a silver body and red wires? No way to bench test controller.

Is that coil swap a common fix for bad controller issues these coils have red wires with like a silver slip over cap and nut. There's not a company out there that makes a better aftermarket controller for older bobcats.

I wouldn't say a common fix, but I have seen it. You can even run 12 volts to the coils you have and they will open and close and without a controller that's probably what was happening with the paddle switch. just find out what coil runs your attachment in the direction you want it to run by putting 12 volts to each coil individually and I would just throw a toggle switch in it at this point.
