843 Won't start

Put the motor back in after having to replace fan, shroud, filters, gaskets etc. Started it up no problems. I came back the next day and It wont do anything . The key was in the off position, the battery is not dead. you turn the key once and you can hear the solenoid click. but nothing after that. If you jump the terminals on the starter it starts right up. Any ideas?

I'd check the starter solenoid first.
Trace the power back to the key, it could be a bad connection.

Turned out to be the starter solenoid.
