7753 hydro motors removal

ok so I have a leak at the wheel motors leaking into chain case I had slow up down movement and checked the chain case plug in front and excess oil came out so added some hydro fluid to system and works now but it obviously is leaking is there a tear down post somewhere on how to remove and rebuild the drive motors also where is the dipstick for the hydro fluid its not in the cap but theres another cap towards middle of machine on the hydro tank though I haven't fipped the cab up yet so cant get to that one

Most likely the motor carrier seal is the problem not the motor. Motor has to be removed to replace the seal.

They are very proud of the tool if they have it take your seal up to lowes and get a threaded pvc coupler that fits your seal then get the threaded plug with the square end works like a charm for under ten bucks

OM pic show drill a little hole and use a slam hammer to get out above......I drilled two small holes and used wood screws through a piece of wood to pull the seals

good post guys. well done. that's how its done. woulnt hurt to remove center chain case cover. place a pry bar on carrier shafts and see what kinda wiggle you got, therby checking carrier brgs up down in and out. 3 to 5 thous about norm. while youre there inspect chains brake discs etc. do it once do it right. yea and look at axleseals if chain case was overpressurized, they are probally leakining if not adreessed all the oil leaks out

well I see its leaking somewhere else got a puddle at back of machine as well to damn cold to check it at the moment

Did you pull the plug and let the excess fluid out of the chaincase be ready might be more than you think

yes I did do that about 6-7 litres but who knows how long been leaking in there I have only owned for a year now with little to no use not sure if leaving them sit is better or worse??

6-7 litres isn't too bad, but it depends on how long it took to get that much in there.
