Hey guys, Just got my 753 manual from the dealer, and noticed all the cool drawings for tools to service the engine. I just finished the engine pulling bracket, and now am working on getting materials for the valve guide and crankshaft bearing tools. Has anyone else made these before? I have acces to a lathe. Can I make them out of cold rolled steel?? My engine runs but I want to rebuild it this winter.. thanks in advance

I haven't got a manual for my machine, i have seen the engine lifting tool though, very handy.
It depends on how much of the re-build you will be doing your self, if the engine shop will be doing most of it, you may not need to build it? If its what I'm thinking of, any old cold rolled steel will be fine. I use a fair bit of old chrome bar to machine down. Easy to get access to old ram stick.
