Hi all, I am very new to your forum, in fact only joined today, but I need some help. I live in the jungle of Borneo, with absolute no assistance from JD what so ever, so I turned to internet and found you. A friend is asking me to buy his 6675 skid steer loader because he needs some money, this machine is not in working condition at all, the problems I can see is:- seat broken, controls rusty, electrical panel stripped out, ingition switch missing, earth wires removed in engine bay, air filter missing, engine hoses missing, engine side cover missing etc etc. Most of these are sortable, BUT I am told that the machine has a problem, which is :- when moving forward / backwards, no problem (or so I am told) but when you raise the boom / bucket the engine starts to shake violently. I think this is the reason why some of the enging parts are missing as they started to strip out. I would like to help the friend, so can any one tell me where to look and what could be the problem?? I know spares could be a VERY big problem. Can any one who knows give me some advice please. One last question, if this machine were running / serviced what are they like, a big pain in the butt / pocket or are they a reasonable machine to own / operate?

Welcome to the forum
The shaking sounds like air in the hydraulic system, the shaking is atches of air being pushed into the cylinder so it makes it jerky. It's possible there was a cracked hose allowing air in, a restriction on the inlet making the oil cavetate (foam up) or the pump could be bad too.
If it drives well, that means most of the system is in good shape, a pump should be an easier fix.
Without a diagram, the wiring may be quite difficult, if it's moslty mechanical controls, it won't be too bad, the issue i see is the potential safety interlocks or aux hydraulics that i assume could be done with switches on the control levers.
