643/backhoe?????

I have an 85 643 1000# lift and I am wanting/needing a backhoe unit! Someone recommended a melroe 607 but they are rated @1200+ #'s and the 709 is 1400+... Does anybody know what will work with my machine for sure before I drive somewhere to pick one up? I am willing to buy one but don't want to waste money either. I really don't want to get a bigger machine then wait to get the hoe, would rather use what I have... Do the companies use breakout force to figure what it will carry or total lift? The highest it will be picked up is 3 ft to the deck of my trailer! Help me out please!!!!

bobcat 907 which is what i use with my 643. the 607 is the newer version of that...i think it will work, whichever one. the 907 has the ball mounts which i prefer, the hooks are too clunky imo. the 753 is rated 1300 lbs and the 709 is the backhoe for that and it weighs 1500, so sometimes the weights don't exactly match up.

it handles it fine, it's a little light the backhoe drags it like nothin, just take it easy with the swing, its sooo fast.

i'm in ma and there are a couple for sale on craigslist... the 607 will still fit i beleive, just need the right brackets.
