Some times the wheel on the bleed screw on the pump gets broken off, so you don't notice it at first. Check the fuel lines running from the lift pump to the injector pump. There should be lines coming from the tap off lines from the injectors too, this is the screw you need to open to bleed the system. Make sure it gets closed after bleeding. You could put a hand pump in before the filter or just put light air pressure in the fuel tank and bleed that way take the plug out of the top of the filter bleed there first the work your way down mine has a little brass wheel by the pump to bleed......I would replace the filter but at least empty the water seperator on the bottom of the filter be careful mine is glass
On mine the bleeder has a little oring in there that cracked up and had to be replaced the dealer said it did not have one so I bought one about 30 bucks I think took the old one apart on found it they got meSome times the wheel on the bleed screw on the pump gets broken off, so you don't notice it at first. Bobcat has a very simple yet effective bleeding/priming system on their Kubota engines. A hand primer from the tank. Open the bleed screw then squeeze the primer bulb till it feels firm and smooth, without bubbles. Close the screw and you should be set. It may take a little effort to start as the injector lines will have air, so a few starting cycles may be needed.
Most parts guys just see images and not know what is inside. I have replaced the O ring before, and made a new thumb wheel when they get broken off.On mine the bleeder has a little oring in there that cracked up and had to be replaced the dealer said it did not have one so I bought one about 30 bucks I think took the old one apart on found it they got me
