I have a 2010 440-3 that when cold, will start right up but when you let off the key switch it shuts off, you can hold the key switch just off the crank position and it will stay running. It seems that when the outside temp rises it starts and runs just fine. Anybody have any thoughts? Thanks

Sounds like the fuel cut off solenoid is bad. They generally have two coils, one is pull one is hold. Sounds like the hold is not working so the machine will shut off after cranking.

Thanks, I'll look at that, Seems strange that when the outside temp gets above 30 degrees it works fine.
