Im currrently looking for a 2nd skid loader for moving bales and I came across a 2007 deere 320 with 6244 hrs. It has cab and heat, hand controls, and not the best tires. looks good but havnt gone down to run it. I believe it came off a farm and used only for loading feed. so, The question is: How many hours do these units last with out any major problems? Thank you

That really is a lot of hours, diesel engines generally last 6,000 hours before they get lazy. I had one that had 6,500 hours up, it was really hard to start, but when it was running it ran just fine. When warm it was fine too, just the initial start was not always easy without a long glow.
Deere aren't known for being nice to work on either, i'm sure someone with experience will chime in.
If its cheap and runs well, go for it, but if its still good money, it may be an idea to keep looking.
