The "push-pull" throttle cable has broken on my L185. This is the cable that connects the speed control (sorry, I don't know if this is the correct term) on the left side of the cab to increase rpm of motor. My question is, how involved is the replacement of this cable, and is it full length from the cab to the motor, or does it disconnect somewhere that is hidden. It disappears down into the side of the interior of the cab behind a steel plate on the left side, and I don't know how difficult it is to get to it, and what the procedure is. Before I start taking stuff apart , and possibly messing something up, I was hoping for some knowledge up front. Thanks in advance.

Remove the left fender and you will see where the cable comes down from the lever. Disconnect the joint at the throttle lever and then remove the pivot joint from the cable. Where the cable goes through the horizontal flat surface you will see a nut and an "L" shaped plate. Loosen the nut and remove the plate. now the cable can be pulled down in the fender area. Just follow the cable to the injection pump and remove what ever is holding it in place.

Thanks very much for your help. Doesn't sound like a difficult fix.
