Skid ran perfectly, brought in for service. I topped off hydraulic fluid, Opened Cab, checked hydraulic lines for leaks, adjusted the right lever arm, tightened one line, replaced air filter, dropped cab and skid would not start, just blew black smoke. I then checked glow plugs for voltage when actuated, no problem. Waited about 30 mins, Skid started right up, but throttle not controlling engine speed over 1/4 throttle. Dropped seat bar and engine immediately died and would not start, blowing black smoke.... Looking for advice. Thanks

Good Grief, it turned out the aux hydraulic detent was on. After adjusting the right lever arm, the detent was actuated.(duh) Sorry for the pre-mature post.

Ha ha ha .. . Don't worry, I did the same damn thing earlier this year....
hahah,.,,,, I feel like just disconnecting the aux detent cable. I don't use the aux at all and if I need to test the system I could just connect it again.... I need the leg room!

There's a spot at the base of the right stick for a bolt that keeps the aux hydraulics from engaging (at least when it left the factory). The manual talks about removing it in order to use the aux. if you want to make sure you never engage it, you could put another bolt back in.

If you look at the second post in this thread, first parts diagram, its item #11
