1997 Bobcat 763 control valve problem

Bobcat is equipped with the BICS and getting code 1 from the valve light indicating that the valve output circuit is open. ( arms and tilt won't work) I have replaced the control valve solenoid, checked the wire for continuity and to see it is not shorted to ground. (all good) still get same flashing code and arms won't work. I powered the solenoid directly and could hear a soft click. I replaced the BICS light indicator panel with new one and same problem exists. Earlier on with my machine this problem of the arms stopping their normal function has happened and usually a shut off and restart solved the problem. All other functions operate normally. I checked the traction lock circiut ,wiring and solenoid and all appear to work properly. Any ideas where to look next. Could it be the BICS computer if that is what it is called and it is located on the back left side of the cab facing the engine. (the tilt has a self leveling feature if that might be a consideration) Thanks Rudy

For starters, this std controls, not AHC, right? The only "brain" to bics is the box with the LEDS on it. If you have replaced that and the coil already, it has to be wiring. I'm thinking you may have "single wire sydrome". All but one wire is broken in the winding and showning you good continuity.

thanks for the reply, it has standard foot controls for the arms and tilt.I downloaded a service manual and am going through the wiring diagram. Probably will try and run a separate fresh ground to eliminate that possibility and go from there. Thanks againRudy
