1995 753 aftermarket radiator question

I picked up a 1995 753 with a lot of issues. The first needing attention is the radiator.
It came with an amazon/ebay radiator that went in pretty well, but the bung for the 6658818 temp sensor is way too large.
Is this a common problem?
Is there a different sensor that can be used with that radiator or an adapter to use the bobcat temp sender?

When I run into a problem like that I normally just hit the hardware store and find a brass reducer that will accommodate the sensor.
 
if you have a decent radiator shop near you, they also might be able to get you what you need for things to work!
 
I’ll head over to the parts store to check it out.
These radiators are all over ebay/amazon so i figured they must have been made for a different sensor from Bobcat on another model.
The thread difference is tight - only like 1/2 coarse/NPT to 3/8 finer thread on the sensor so was just wondering what others may have done.

If you don’t find what you need you may be able to have a different bung soldered onto the radiator.

You can also find a brass plug and then drill and tap a hole in it for the sensor.
 
Ended up it was an M12 hole!
So i got a stainless M12 to 1/8 NPT adapter.
Unfortunately, with the way the sensor is made, I had to drill the adapter out with a 5/16” bit on the M12 (male) side of the adapter.
It looks like this may work!
