I have been very lucky over the years of owning my 743, but a recurring issue is starting to rear its ugly head and I thought I should address it here. My red transmission warning light on the overhead console has come on twice in the last 6 months. The first time that it came on, I replaced the hydraulic filter and that seemed to fix it. The other day I had the 743 out and after about an hour of off and on work the light came back on. I shut the machine down as quickly as possible, came back about 15 minutes later, started the engine and the light didn't come on. I drove it into the pole barn and parked it. I would like to replace the switch before I do anything else to it, but the switch that is on the machine now has just one terminal. The switches that are sold now have universally ( I think) two terminals. If I replace the original with switch with 2 terminals, are there any steps that I need to take to adapt it to my bobcat, or can I just attach to one of the terminals and call it a day? If that doesn't fix things, I guess I will be back here.

The warning light for that appears to be ganged for both low charge pressure and high oil temperature, so you'll need to find out which sender is activating it, and if it's legitimate.
If it does it when it's cold, the pressure switch is more likely to be at fault than the temp. If it happens when it's warmed up and been working, perhaps the oil cooler is plugged up with leaves or other stuff.
You really need to know the values of the switches so they will trigger at the right time; there are parts books in the manual thread, along with service and owners manuals for the 743. With the right part number you can get the correct part, maybe off ebay.
The two pole switches you've seen are probably simple pressure switches with a NO and NC terminal so it can serve multiple purposes/applications.
