Does anyone know what tool and size to unscrew the very bottom fuel tank plug on an 1845C? Looks like a large Allen wrench is needed. Could be square. Hard to get a good look at it. Thank you.

The older Cases had 1/2 inch square drive plugs if I recall right. Good idea to take a pick tool to the recess as it will almost certainly be packed with debris. Also it is fairly likely the plug will be hard to remove, being rusted in place due to it being at the lowest part of the tank where water tends to accumulate.

Yes you were correct about the half inch square. A regular 1/2 inch socket/driver works fine. I pulled the wrong one. The very bottom one is for the chain oil which I need to replace soon anyways. I think the one closer up is the fuel plug. Thanks!
