Gentlemen, I have a Case 1845c that needs the yoke or clevis portion of the drive shaft coupler between the engine and hydraulic pump. The piece I need is the yoke portion which fits on-to the splined shaft of the pump, just the end piece. The dealer wants $ 142 bucks, which is crazy. If anyone knows of a more reasonable replacement, please advise. Thanks

You can dig around a place like loader parts source. I've got a Ditch Witch 2310 that uses a u joint coupling like yours ( different spline ) the brand is NEAPCO a common u joint maker. Maybe searching for that brand will help. Or a hydraulic pump / PTO dealer. ( though mony PTO shafts are straight with a key ) $ 142 isn't all that bad and for me if someting didn't pop up with a bit if searching I'd buy it. ( and I'm usually the one that sources parts from the manufacturer rather than a machine maker )

Thanks for response. Seems the simple parts are the hardest to find. My piece is worn and clatters, I don't want it to fail and cause other problems. Any used part would probably also be worn, new is going to be best.

I too thought 142 for the part was pretty decent, i'm sure Bobcat would want more than that!
Good idea about swapping it out. If it fails it could cause more damage to other parts when it goes.
