If it's getting into the oil too, i would suspect the injector pir lift pump is leaking.
An injector can cause white smoke, as can a burnt piston or ring. If you take the injectors out and look at the tips, see if any look wet or different to all the others.
Is it a turbo machine at all? a bad turbo can give a lot of smoke too.
