1.2m High Skid Steer

Hi All, I have a request from a client to supply a modified Bobcat S70 to give it a max height of 1.2m. It doesnt have to lift very high at all, max an inch if anything. It will be used in a shot blasting room which has low beams of 1.2m high. The client did this before and it apparently worked very well, I'm just not sure of where I can have this modification done. Would like to know if anyone on the forum is able to help, or knows someone who can. I need two of these units. Regards, James

Back in the day, 1983, my uncle made a special one based on a 743, which was converted from 1,95m to 1,40m. I believe they went to the port of Rotterdam. I can take a look to see if he has the schematics laying around.

I'm assuming you want to cut the cage down? If so, not sure how that would go as they are certified and you can't even drill a hole in it.....

Can't find the exact schematics right now, but maybe this will help you: The hinges where brought forward 250mm and the controls too. The seat was lowered too. Unfortunately I don't. You could try Ghelmax the Netherlands and ask if they maybe have the schematics, but I doubt it, since it used to be a Bobcat dealership rather than a Ghelmax one.
