I have a small leak on top of my main hydrostat. Can somebody point me on what to check first?

If its anything like my 863, they have O-rings and I think plastic clip on top . One on left one on right. Let me find a picture and attach it. It was a simple fix. I did buy oem parts from bobcat. It should be (if we are talking same thing) where the left and right Forward sticks connecting too.
FYI the Schematic picture is on it's side...NOT up and down in the machine...not sure why they show Hydr like that.

Sweet!!! Thank you for the detailed pictures. I will probably jinx myself, but that looks easy enough to do. Pardon my confusion I haven't had much easy to do on this thing.

I marked both with a paint marker (the U-bolt where the "Cable" mounts so it will be the same without having to adjust play (creeping forward or backwards). See attached picture.
Keep us posted!

This is where our machines are different. Mine uses flat steel bars instead of a cable. Marking the original place at the adjustment point has been done….it used to creep backwards!!!
