My L425 is air cooled, they have the wisconsin v4hd 30hp. The L454 is a 2 cylinder Continental water cooled 31hp skid steer.Was just looking for info on this machine.

I am looking for more info on this machine.. I recently purchased one with a bad motor,only has 1600 hours on it, in really good shape. I am not having much luck finding information on the Continental TM13 engine.. Was this a decent motor? Says it makes 31hp, it is water cooled, which is nice...

They look pretty simple from what I can see. And they have no wear at all.. I am going to re gasket both and reinstall. They worked just fine, but this machine had been sitting for about 10 years.. I got them out, they did come out the front, had to remove a few of the fittings.. These pumps are remans it looks like.. They are brown in color.. Took one apart and they look brand new.. My guess is the seals just dried out some.. I am going to order seal kits for them, anything else I should...

How hard it is to remove both pumps? Do you have to pull the motor and go out the back with them? Or drop down the gas tank and pull them out one at a time from the front? Thanks

Looking at a New Holland L425 has a new Kohler motor with only 4 hours on it.. Seems to be in pretty good shape. Tires are okay.. No leaks. What is something like this worth.. Also what was the lift capacity of this machine? Any other comments good or bad on this machine would be appreciated...
