743B tilt cyl rod end worn out

The tilt cylinder rod end is very worn. The pin has some wear as do the holes for the pin in the Bob-Tach frame. My main concern is the wear in the tilt cylinder rod end, I assume there is no bushing as the parts book does not show one. I could make a bushing to fit except that the hole is not...

no fuel going to two injectors on 763

The recommended fuel injector cleaner for injector nozzles on (gasoline) aircraft engines is Hoppes #9. I soak the nozzles in a jar of it overnight and it does a great job. You can find it at Wally World or any gun place.

    742B Timing issues

If this is the Mitsubishi engine, my book says the timing is 5 deg. BTDC with the vacuum hose disconnected, at 600-650 RPM. With the vacuum hose connected, at 2800 RPM it should be 10 deg. BTDC. It says there is a "notch" on the crank pulley for the timing. Also, I doubt that you could put the...

    Is my 743B dead?

Oracle, I sure would love to see a picture of the hydraulic lines on the inside of the left wall of the engine compartment. I have a 734B with questions about the forward hydraulic connections to the hoses in the back on the left side. Check my post just a couple posts before yours, listed as...

    743B will not start

There are 4 steel lines on the left side. 2 go to hoses to the left lift arms, and the other 2 (plugged in the picture), are for the hoses that will connect to the Front Aux steel lines that are mounted on the left lift arm.

    742B Timing issues

It is very possible to install a distributor 180 out and it will still run fine if you move each of the ignition wires (on a 4 cly engine) 2 holes each in rotation, it then fires just as it should. Hope that makes sense. Do you have the timing specs, if so I would do the procedure I mentioned so...

    743B will not start

Today I loosened the plugs on the 2 lines pictured. I had my wife watch as I started the machine. There was no oil coming from the lines at that point. Then I moved the right stick left and oil came out of one line, then I moved the right stick left and oil came out of the other line. So now I...

    742B Timing issues

Antfarmer2 I think has it right, the distributor is 180 deg. off. You could pull it out and see if it will go in 180 deg. Or if you have the specs from the engine manual for the timing, you could put #1 piston at TDC compression stroke, and use a protractor or degree wheel to make a mark at the...

    rear aux

According to my 743B parts book, there is a Kit PN 6702965. It has an electrically operated hydraulic valve, controlled by a button on top of the right stick. The Forward aux hydraulic lines connect to the valve as well as the rear aux hydraulic lines. When you hold the button on top of the...

    743B will not start

Tazza, thanks for posting the pictures. I know there are no hoses, my problem is that the steel capped off lines that the hoses should connect to are curved toward the rear so far that there is not enough room to connect the hoses. The parts book shows these steel lines going straight up, making...

    743B will not start

No, I can't explain it well enough without pictures so someone can understand what I'm talking about, and I have not yet been able to post pictures. I have read the post on picture posting but still can't get it to work. If you can post pictures I could email them to you to post for me if you...
