I've got a weird issue here guys, just bought a 2008 Asv pt100 at auction. The throttle lever on injection was tied with a spring to be advanced fully because the throttle cable is broke. I replaced throttle cable and removed spring to put pump lever back at idle... I can start machine it idles...
Well drive motor tested good. So I went ahead and blocked off all the hydraulic lines to that side. When I do forward motion on the stick the engine loads/bogs is very minimal. But it is much much more noticeable when reverse is applied. I made a short video on YouTube , sorry for the bad...
Tore into the drive system today, what a b$#&h... Anyway the left and right drive motors are completely different in the hydro hose mounting locations, so I cannot swap side to side . I went ahead and pulled the right side drive motor. Going to get it tested , hopefully it was not all for...
I will look into the motor swap from side to side. But I also noticed when the right side is weak , if I push the right hydro stick forward is does NOT seem to load the engine down at all.
My bobcat has started getting weaker on the right side. After it's been running a few minutes the right side will not push much forward, and will not spin the tires . Has a decent amount of reverse power but squeals loudly. Left side is responsive and strong , will spin tires. Does this sound...
Hey guys picked a nice new Holland ls170 last week, and I'm Getting ready for a big job. Where is the hydraulic fluid dipstick to make sure its tank is full?? I've looked all over and can't find it,. Only thing I found was oil fill in rear above the engine.
Forgive my ignorance guys but what is the little linkage on turbo,, and what does it do? It never moves through the throttle advance. I can move it back and forth by hand. Trying to figure out how to post a picture.
Bobcat 943 right side forward seems slower more sluggish than reverse? Left side is fine, and matches right side reverse speed. Is this a hydro pump issue ?
Looking at picking up a bobcat 943 project. I was just wondering if they are any good, seems like a lot of weight to move around. Is resale any good on these big machines?
Anyone ever replaced the drive belt on the case 1737? I got the rear pulley free to put the belt over it, but cant fit the new belt under the lower drive pulley? Any help is appreciated.
I have a John deere 575 that has sat a few years not operating because prior owner broke the drive chains and never fixed. Before I put all the money into the drive system I want to verify the motor will perform. I pulled the cylinder head, and 3rd cylinder toward the cab was full of antifreeze...
Hello, Im new to the forum and also new to skid steer mechanics. I recently picked up a john deere 575 that has sat a few years not running. Couple of the hydro tank access covers were removed a while ago to replace the drive chains. Long story short, they never got replace and are quite rusty...
