Years ago I heard that the 743 was the most produced Bobcat model, but I would bet anything that the S185 has surpased it now. Just look at machinery trader and some of the other online equipment auction sites. There are hundreds if not thousands of them for sale at any one given moment.
Check the horsepower rating on it. I believe that the 04 T180 and T190 were rated at 56 hp net as compare to the 61 HP net of late 05 and above machines. The early models were really underpowered. Personally I would stay far away from the early models for that reason. Good Luck!!
I don't think so. I have seen pictures and my dealer tells me this is going to be the new model numbering sequence. I think it's dumb myself. The current system works just fine, but maybe that is the problem!!!
Actually the weight of engine oil you use should be based on the ambient air temperature that you are working in. I use 5w30 in winter and 15w40 in summer. I know others that use 10w30 all year long. In fact my dealer recommends 10w30 all year long and will not stock anything but. The important...
Talked to my salesman the other day and he confirms that he now has pricing information for these machines and that he can now take orders for them. Doesn't sound like they come with many options. Cab and heat thats about it. Can't wait to demo one.
Just found this site. Check it out. http://www.skancat.se/Bobcat/Bobcat%20Fotosidor/fotosidor/T110%20foto.html and http://www.skancat.se/Bobcat/Bobcatindex/RAM%20Hjullastare.htm
Stopped in at the local dealer today and heard rumors of some new machines comming out. T230 and T240 CTL's in mid frame machines. I assume one will be a radius lift path and the other will be a vertical lift. Also a T380 and a larger machine than that. Model number unknown. They are supposed to...
When bobcat first introduced the T190 it was basically an S185 with tracks. The rated horsepower on this machine was 56 HP net, same as the S185. In the tracked version (T190) it was terribly underpowered. In 2005, I believe, they came out with a 61 HP version(net) or 66 hp Gross. Huge...
A wheeled machine is the better choice for all around farm use, especially one with two speed. I would say that for corral cleaning/manure loading you may require over the tire tracks as traction and flotation may be a problem. Can't say how a T190 would be in the manure. Not sure if I would...
